Profile Data: Age, gender, height, weight, and fitness goals you enter to personalise your calorie targets.
Food & Nutrition Logs: Foods you search for and log, including serving sizes and meal times.
Water Intake: Daily water consumption you log within the App.
Usage Data: App activity such as features used and session frequency, collected to improve the App experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, maintain, and improve the MyCalorieLog App and its features.
Calculate personalised daily calorie and macronutrient goals.
Show your nutrition history, streaks, and progress over time.
Respond to your support requests and communications.
Send important service notifications (e.g. subscription status).
Comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider with industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

Service Providers: We use Supabase for database hosting. These providers are contractually obligated to keep your data confidential and secure.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to a valid legal process.
Business Transfer: If the App is acquired or merged, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

All payments and subscription management are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your credit card or payment information. Your subscription can be managed or cancelled through your Apple ID account settings.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information via the App's profile settings.
Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at Email Support.
Opt-Out: Stop using the App at any time and cancel your subscription through Apple ID settings.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App's services. If you request account deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

9. Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to external websites (such as Apple's Terms). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third-party sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
